This is a view of the rooftops, looking out towards the hill and the City of Agrigento. Although not visible in this picture, Ancient Greek temples sit on the hills below the city facing the sea. They look spectacular when lit up in orange at night.


In between the shops and the sea there is plenty of space to take a stroll, an essential part of Sicilian life


These photos were taken in Sicily in October and February. As you can imagine the beach is a little busier in the summer!


The beach at San Leone has a number of rocks that create safe shallow pools, and are excellent for sitting on and watching the sea. The picture in the middle is of a jelly fish, thankfully there doesn't seem to be too many of these. The picture on the right is of the San Leone yachting harbour. This has been constructed over recent years and has become very popular.
