This is the sign that is outside most Tabaccheria. They are the equivalent of our English newsagents. They sell bus tickets, which you need to purchase before travel and they also sell telephone cards which make calling abroad very cheap from public phones.
To ask for bus tickets you would say: "Posso comprare un biglietto (bill-yeto) di autobus per favore?"
To ask for a pone card to call abroad you would say: "Posso comprare una scheda telefonica all'estero per favore?"
